Here's an Awesome Update for Predator fans! Shane Black, who directed Iron Man 3, is set to write and direct the reboot to the 1987 Arnie classic, Predator!
The original film - a cult classic around the world, where Schwarzenegger's crack military team face off against an advanced alien hunter in the depths of the jungle - has already had a loose sequel, two Alien vs Predator crossovers and a relatively recent installment from Robert Rodriguez, starring Adrien Brody. Fox have since decided, however, that they want to reboot the franchise completely, returning to the '87 jungle. Shane Black has been brought on board to both pen and direct the film, which is an intriguing choice - not so much because of his body of work behind the camera, but because he was actually in Predator alongside Arnie, as the ill-fated Private Hawkins. In other words, he has first hand experience of just what the Predator film was about, and as such, he's likely the best candidate to not screw it up.

When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion - a robot named Baymax - and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, "Big Hero 6" is directed by Don Hall ("Winnie the Pooh") and Chris Williams ("Bolt), and produced by Roy Conli ("Tangled")."

The trailer shows off the more serious aspects of the film, with stronger hints at plot and character development; it's certainly nice to see a trailer that caters to those who were dubious about the seemingly increased focus on comedy with previous trailers, though there's still plenty of gags in there, too!
