The new show follows the life of Bud Buckwald, voiced by Hank Azaria, who works as a Border Patrol officer on the US/Mexican border. Bud's neighbour, Ernesto Gonzalez, an immigrant who is doing very well for himself, provides the confrontation for the show due to Bud's dated opinions to the cultural changes occurring in his neighbourhood.
